Mission
Southwest Denver Coalition's mission is to connect underserved individuals in neighborhoods across Southwest Denver to comprehensive resources and services that address their basic needs and recognize their value and importance to our communities. Southwest Denver Coalition works towards this mission by facilitating collaboration between southwest Denver stakeholders. We do this by working with residents, local community-based organizations, nonprofits, schools, businesses, and the City and County of Denver and leveraging resources, expertise, leadership, and passion to create stronger, more resilient, more unified communities.
purpose
The SouthWest Denver Coalition promotes partnerships and on-going collaborative community efforts in SouthWest Denver to reach the ongoing needs and expressions of the community at a grassroots level.

The vision of the SouthWest Denver Coalition is a safe, unified, healthy, and cohesive community that celebrates its distinct multi-cultural heritage.
Membership

Benefits
- Membership – Membership is at no cost.
- Expanding Networks: Become a part of a collaborative structure to support the community with resources and help our partners carry out your organization/business mission and efforts.
- Information Sharing: Get access to services that benefit the community and your organization/business.
- Coordination of Services: Work with trusted local partners, to provide services, and resources, that meet the community’s needs.
- Community Education: Access and participation in community-based resources, fairs, and education events.
Commitments
- A representative must attend at least seven of the eleven (75%) SWDC monthly meetings.
- Help keep us updated on the most current programs and services for your organization/Business to ensure we are providing the community with the up-to-date information.
- Notify us of any member representatives changes (staff no longer with the company or new hires) to ensure we have current member information on our list for your organization/business.
- Support one of our annual community efforts by joining the planning committee or volunteering for an event (Safe Summer Kickoff on Go Day, National Night Out, Back to School Giveaway, Youth Violence Prevention Forum, Thanksgiving Giveaway, Holiday Giveaway, and other opportunities may arise through the year)
- Member Service Project – This is not required but is an ask of our partners to help make our work possible. Please help contribute to our Back-to-School Supply Drive, Thanksgiving Giveaway, and Holiday Giveaway
