Each year the SouthWest Denver Coalition hosts two of the largest community events in SW Denver and other special events. We invite you to attend monthly community meetings the second Thursday of the month from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm to discuss topics regarding your community; we would love to hear your suggestions.
Monthly Community Meetings
Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, hosted by various community partners. Please check the calendar for location details. If you are a business or organization in SW Denver and interested in hosting a meeting or sponsoring a lunch, feel free to reach out to us.

Safe Summer Kick Off on Get Outdoors Day
SSKO GO is a collaborative project with community members, non-profits, local government, law enforcement, and other Colorado-based partners. We look to provide an intentional, inclusive, and safe outdoor space to explore adventure activities such as swimming, fishing, hiking, climbing, biking, boating, navigation, nature identification, connection to basic resources, and more. In addition, this event will host resource fair, music, live entertainment, activities and free food.To learn more click here.
National Night Out
Celebrated all across the US, National Night Out is an annual community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our communities safer. SWDC has hosted Colorado’s largest National Night Out event three years in a row!
